PVLL Spring 2025
Welcome to Pahrump Valley Little League! Through our affiliation with Little League International, we provide an opportunity for all children aged 4 to 16 to learn and participate in the game of baseball. We believe in the power of youth baseball to teach life lessons that build stronger communities and individuals. We believe in a strong emphasis on sportsmanship and comradery while developing the qualities of leadership, teamwork, discipline and commitment. To further these goals, we provide several levels of play dependent on a child's age and/or skill level. We look forward to a great upcoming season! Baseball Divisions
Tee Ball - Little League Baseball
The Tee Ball division is for league age 4 and 5-year-olds for boys and girls. It is a pure tee ball division designed to introduce our youngest players to the basics, fundamentals, and fun of baseball. This is a non-competitive division where players can learn and practice fundamental baseball skills at an early age and receive maximum enjoyment from the experience.
Rookies - Little League Baseball
The Rookies division is a coach pitch division for league age 6 to 8-year olds. 5-year olds must have at least one season (preferably 2) of Tee Ball (or equivalent) experience in order to play in this division. Rookies is a non-competitive division where players can learn, develop, and practice fundamental baseball skills at an early age and receive maximum enjoyment from the experience.
Minor - Coach/Machine Pitch - Little League Baseball
Minor - Coach/Machine Pitch division is a non-competitive division for players league ages 8-11. League Age 11-year-olds who do not attend an evaluation session or who are not selected during the Major draft will be placed on a Minors roster.
Minor - Player Pitch - Little League Baseball
Minor - Player Pitch division is a competitive division for players league ages 8-11. League Age 11-year-olds who do not attend an evaluation session or who are not selected during the Major draft will be placed on a Minors roster.
Major - Little League Baseball
The Majors division is a competitive division for players league ages 10-12. If they are not selected by a Majors manager at the draft, they will be placed in the draft pool during the Minors draft. League age 12-year-olds who do not attend an evaluation session will be randomly placed on a Major roster.
Junior - Little League Baseball
Junior - This division is the first to utilize a regulation sized baseball field with a 90-foot base path and 60-foot 6-inch pitching rubber for players league age 13 to 15. Players must attend an evaluation session to be eligible for the draft.
Softball Divisions
Girls Softball Minor League
Minor League Softball is for participants 7-11 years old and can be operated with multiple divisions that are based on age and/or ability. Divisions may include “machine pitch,” “coach pitch” and “player pitch.” The diamond has 60-foot base paths and a 35 foot pitching distance.
Girls Softball Little League (Major Division)
The Little League Softball® division (sometimes known as the Major Division) is for players ages 9-12. The field uses a 60-foot diamond and a 40 foot pitching distance. A local league may dual-roster 12-year-olds, assessed capable, to a Major and a Junior division softball teams. The local league has an option to choose a Tournament Team (or “All Stars”) of 10-to-12-year-olds from within this division, and the team may enter the International Tournament.
Girls Softball Junior Division
The Junior League Softball division is a program for players ages 12-14, and uses a conventional 60-foot diamond with a 43 foot pitching distance. The local league has an option to choose a Tournament Team (or “All Stars”) of 12-14-year-olds from within this division, and the team may enter the International Tournament.
